Pile -o- puppies

11 new puppies!

New Mama.  This is Koda's first litter and she has done great.  She was looking pretty fat so we knew there would be a lot of puppies, but we didn't expect 11!  This is the biggest litter we have ever had.  SO, if you have been thinking about getting a Vizsla, now is the time!   There are 5 boys and 6 girls.  We are going to be putting her on a heavy diet to keep them all fed.  They all look healthy and well, we haven't pinpointed an obvious runt yet.  Elizabeth (age 5) says they are SO gorgeous.  Koda has done a great job mothering so far and is attentive and careful.

It has been a fun night and morning.  Andrew is taking a nap. ;D
